Wednesday Night Classes
Recylcled pillow--Terri Click- THIS CLASS HAS BEEN CANCELED
Using recycle felted wool to make a floral decorator pillow.
Student Requirements: Sewing machine, natural colored thread, #80 needle, basic sewing supplies along
with a hand sewing needle. The class will make a pillow and stuffing will be available but you may want to
stuff the pillow at home so you don’t squish the flower getting it home when you are stuffing everything in
your suitcases! If you have sparkly thread you want to bring it!!
More Zoo Animals--Jan Kerton- 3-hour hand class
Here is the beginning of my collection of zoo animals. We will make one animal per night. For Wednesday
a Panda will be made. You will receive a full kit but only make one panda in the class ready to applique.
The applique pieces will be pre-stitched so no sewing machine is required. I have some wool blanketing or
cotton waffle that can be purchased or you may bring your own background fabric.
Student requirements: Basice Hand Sewing supplies, hoops
Beaded Greeting Cards--Beverly Clement- 3-Hour hand/craftclass
Do you often wonder why greeting cards are so expensive? Then you will love this class. Get comfy
and make as many cards as you can in three hours – no limit! All the supplies will be provided so you can
just sit back and have fun. We will be sewing a few beads to cardstock, layer a couple of colors to suit
yourself, then glue the whole set to a premade card. Envelopes are included for each card. No UFOs from
this class but you might get addicted and there is no cure.
Student requirement: Paper scissors

YES FOR REAL THIS TIME!! Due to a glitch last year the IN-the-Hoop key fob class and this got mixed up.
So,I will teach the free-motion monogram class this year.
Student requirements: Basic sewing supplies, Sewing machine, free-motion or quilting foot for your
machine and an 80, 90 or possible 100 eye needle. Different machines act funny and need a different
needle. Usually the 90 will work fine with two threads through it.

Honeycomb Counterchange Needle Case--Margaret Fain- 3-hour hand class
Do you want to learn Honeycomb, one of the earliest smocking stitches? This cute needle case will teach
you the basics of the honeycomb stitch and give you a taste of counterchange as we created a diamond
pattern from striped fabric. Kit includes fabric, batting, lining (silk cashmere), ribbon and embroidery
thread, instructions for finishing case.

In-the-hoop Crochet Needlecase Roll--Terri Click- THIS CLASS HAS BEEN CANCELED

Student requirements: Sewing machine with large-hoop (6x10, 7x11 or 8 x12 inch hoops) capabilities,
embroidery unit and hoops, sewing supplies, bobbin thread, spool of thread metler 40 weight, whatever
