Fresh as a Daisy--Connie Palmer- 12-hour machine class taught Wednesday and
continues on Thursday, then again on Friday and continues on Saturday
When I think of spring my mind wanders to a field of daisies. A little girl twirling around in a cute
summer dress soaking up the sunshine. We might not have a field but we can make our daisies on a dress.
Using my popular Marjorie’s dress pattern we will learn how to appliqué by machine while making a
beautiful daisy on the yoke. We will make it 3 dimensional by using ribbon for the flower petals. The
skirt will be tiered and accented with rickrack to get a real twirl around effect. And of course, we scatter
some daisies on the skirt. Come join me and get ready for spring.
